Hello Shark Families,
Monday kicks off our first official day of week day morning practices. It’s always helpful to check the calendar to ensure you have times correct for practices and events. Lots of updates below as the season events will quickly pick up.

PANCAKE BREAKFASTS START THIS WEEK
Our first weekly Pancake breakfast is this Wednesday, June 12. Breakfast will be served from 9:30-11:30a in the Shark Tank. Come fill up on pancakes and bacon before or after practice. Cost is $9.95 per person. This is not exclusive to swimmers.
FIRST HOME MEET AGAINST COUNTRY CLUB OF DETROIT ON TUESDAY, JUNE 18
Please declare if you will be attending yes or no ASAP (deadline is 6/14)
TEAM PHOTOS & BREAKFAST ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19
We are trying a new photographer and a new approach with individual and team photos at 9a on Wednesday, June 19. Please arrive by 8:45a. Slips to order photos will be available at the lifeguard area starting on Saturday. They can be picked up day of as well. Please make sure your child has their team suit and team t-shirt. Following photos, we will have a team breakfast in the dining room. Cost is $21 per swimmer.
STROKE CLINICS
Stroke Clinics give swimmers an opportunity to get more personalized help on their stroke technique with a 5:1 athlete to coach ratio max. These are valuable experiences for the swimmers a proper technique is key to improving. There are available spots this week. Cost is $25/session.

If you did not volunteer on Saturday and have not signed up to volunteer for one of our three home meets, we ask that you please do so now. You will hear from us by end of week if you have not signed up yet. Sign up under the Event in TeamUnify.
FINALS VIP TICKETS
While it feels premature to think about Finals, VIP tickets are now available for Finals at Grosse Ile Country Club July 26-28. COACHES’ CORNER – Coach Paul
As we roll closer towards competitions, it’s very common to fantasize about the things you want to accomplish during the season, but a more important question is:
What are you going to do to achieve it?
What habits are you going to start the season with?
What will power your effort and motivation this summer?
This is the story of your swimming, and YOU are the author. You write the story. You fill the pages. At the end of the summer, every Shark will have a different journey and different paths taken. You choose the route. You make the decisions. You, and you alone, are accountable for your story. Make it one to remember!
