Hello Sharks!
MICSA Finals Day 2 is in the books and the Sharks kept up the awesome swims. This team had a plan and were all business right from warm up through the end of the meet. Like yesterday, every single Shark had significant drops in at least one race. It’s very tough to have every kid firing and our Sharks did it!
We set ourselves up for some exciting races and great swims tomorrow. Get some rest and get ready to rock!
See you all tomorrow!
SHARKS ROCK!
Coach Paul
A few reminders for tomorrow:
Warm-up at BAC 8:00-8:30a. Get changed quickly! The bus will depart from the BAC at 8:45 AM sharp. All finals team swimmers are highly encouraged to ride the bus and support their teammates during the finals.
All Shark swimmers are encouraged to participate in the parade at 10:30a. Finals squad wear your Finals t-shirt, all other Sharks wear your team shirt. The parade is fun team event to be a part of! Laura Shullman and Beth LaBelle picked out some great props and decorations for the parade. We hope to see you there to join in the fun!
IMPORTANT NOTE: We ask that all swimmers stay through the end of the meet and the awards ceremony. Sportsmanship is a core value of our team, and as Sharks, we take pride in showing respect and support for the trophy and meet winners. It’s important for our young team to witness what it looks like to win a championship—it’s part of learning what it takes to reach the top.
After the awards, we’ll return to the BAC to celebrate the season together with our teammates. End of Season awards will be announced, dinner, and DJ will follow.
