Hello, Shark families!
As this season wrapped up over the weekend, I’m proud to reflect on the journey this team has been through over the past year. We saw incredible growth, not just in the pool, but in individuals and team culture.
This group demonstrated what it means to be coachable, team-oriented, and have world class sportsmanship. They encouraged each other, celebrated team and individual successes, and learned from challenges along the way. As a coaching staff, we saw leaders emerge in all age groups, showing that leadership isn’t determined by age or experience, but by attitude and action.
Despite talk around the league of the BAC heading towards the lower division, this team showed we still have that spark and we are not to be counted out. We took a huge step forward as a team this summer and I am already looking forward to the next step in our journey. We built a strong foundation for seasons to come.
Special congrats to Kate LaBelle for setting BAC records in the 8 & Under 25 and 50 Freestyle along with setting the MICSA record in the 8 & Under 50 free!
I couldn’t be prouder of this team and what they accomplished this season. Thank you to all the swimmers, coaches, families, and club staff that made this an incredible summer.

At the end, you may fall short of your goals, but you will walk away with so much more. You’ll develop self-awareness – what drives you, challenges you, and how you grow. You’ll develop confidence – you’ll face difficulties head on and learn how to overcome them. You’ll develop pride – knowing you held nothing back and stuck to your commitment.
We are in the process of finalizing the dual meet schedule for next season, stay tuned for next year’s schedule!
Looking forward to a great season next summer!
SHARKS ROCK!
