For Sharks that stuck around the BAC this weekend, it looked like they had fun between celebrating birthdays, Firecracker practice, and meeting a NCAA Division 1 qualifier, Luke Mychalowych! Special thanks to Jen Dillon for capturing the fun in these pictures!
This Tuesday marks our final dual meet of the season—and it’s also a very special night as we celebrate Senior Night for Katie Drouillard! Be sure to stay tuned tomorrow for a special post honoring Katie. Let’s show up loud and proud to cheer her on at her last dual meet!

Hello, Sharks!
As we head into the final few weeks of the season, I want to touch on something that can affect your swimming in that short amount of time – Choices.
Effort is a choice. A positive mindset is a choice. Show up early is a choice. Cheering for your teammates is a choice. Putting your equipment away is a choice. Doing extra is a choice. Your success is much more than just luck, talent, or genetics.
Your success is the culmination of your choices. Make the choice to challenge yourself. Make the choice to get better. Make the choice to be a great teammate. Make the choice to be a SHARK!

We still have 8 volunteer spots open for Tuesday’s home meet. We truly cannot run a successful meet without the support of our parent volunteers. If you haven’t signed up yet this season, please log into Commit and grab a spot.
7/11 OLCC Mini Meet
We need 3 timers for this meet. Without timers, our swimmers won’t be able to participate—so your help is critical. Please sign up in Commit if you’re available.
7/22 Plates, Plaques, and Pasta Dinner Photo Slide Show
We are looking for a couple volunteers who would like to make the end of season photo slide show. Please email me if you are able to help! Without volunteers, we unfortunately won’t be able to put the slide show together.
📸 SWIMMER PHOTO ORDERS – DUE TODAY!
VSN has kindly extended the deadline for photo orders to today. If you missed your chance earlier, there’s still time!
Orders placed after today will be shipped directly to your home and may include standard shipping fees.
⏱️ 7/16 INTERSQUAD TIME TRIAL
The coaches will be hosting an Intersquad Time Trial on July 16 for all swimmers. For many, this will be the final opportunity to post a time for finals. Stay tuned—more details soon.
🍝 TEAM BANQUET UPDATE
Based on your feedback, we’ve made a change to how we celebrate our swimmers. This year, we’re combining the team banquet with our beloved “Plates, Plaques & Pasta” night on 7/22 at 5:30 PM to ensure greater participation and team-wide recognition.
- All swimmers will receive their award plaques and paper plate awards at this event.
- Special honors (Brutally Aggressive, Most Improved, Coach’s Award, etc.) will be announced during the End-of-Season Party on 7/27.
2025 COACH GIFTS
We are incredibly grateful for our amazing team of BAC coaches. Their dedication, energy, and enthusiasm have made this summer truly special for our Sharks. Whether in the pool, on the pool deck, cheering at meets, or even leading dance parties, they haven’t missed a beat.
This is an extraordinary group of individuals who have poured so much into our swimmers and we are so lucky to have them. Your BAC account will be billed $20 per swimmer to cover the cost of the coaches gifts.

Be sure to visit the MICSA Finals website for all the latest info—general details, ticket sales, and sponsorship opportunities are all there! 🎟️
The finals team will be announced on July 20, so please be sure to declare your swimmer’s availability in Commit by July 12 to assist coaches with roster planning.
Whether or not your swimmer swims at finals, we encourage all BAC families to join us at the End-of-Season Party on July 27. It’s a celebration for the entire team!
