Finals Day and End-of-Season Reminders

Hi Shark Families,

If you’ve been following along on Meet Mobile this weekend, you’ve probably seen some incredible swims from these ferocious Sharks! We couldn’t be more proud of everything they have accomplished this season. Their hard work, determination, and team spirit have been on full display!

As we head into Finals tomorrow, here are a few important reminders:

🐟 Opening Ceremony Parade (10:30 a.m.)

All Shark swimmers are encouraged to participate in the Finals Opening Ceremony Parade at 10:30 a.m. at GOCC.

• Finals swimmers: Please wear your Finals T-shirt.
• All other Sharks: Please wear your team shirt.

The parade is a fun tradition and a great opportunity for our entire team to show their Shark pride. We hope to see everyone there!

🏊 Finals Swimmers

• Arrive at the BAC by 7:15 a.m.
• Team warm-up: 7:30–8:00 a.m. at BAC.
• After warm-up, change quickly and be ready to board the bus.
• The bus departs for GOCC promptly at 8:15 a.m.

All Finals swimmers are strongly encouraged to ride the team bus and cheer on their teammates throughout the meet. 

Important Reminder

We ask that all Finals swimmers remain through the conclusion of the meet and the awards ceremony. Sportsmanship is one of our team’s core values, and as Sharks, we take pride in supporting all competitors and celebrating the accomplishments of the championship teams. Watching the trophy presentations is an important part of the experience—it gives our swimmers the opportunity to see what it looks like to reach the top and inspires them to continue working toward those goals.

🎉 End-of-Season Party (5:30 p.m.)

Following Finals, all Shark swimmers and families are invited to celebrate an incredible season at our End-of-Season Party beginning at 5:30 p.m. Join us for a buffet dinner, a DJ, and our team awards, including the Coach’s Award, Most Improved, Brutally Aggressive, and many more!

If you haven’t already, please RSVP through the BAC Member Portal or the BAC App.

📸 Team Pictures

If you purchased team pictures, they will be available for pickup at the End-of-Season Party. If you’re unable to attend, your pictures will be placed in your swimmer’s ribbon folder in the guard office.

🏆 Plaques

If you weren’t able to pick up your plaque last week, it will also be available for pickup at the party.

🧥 Lost & Found

As you’re packing up after the season, please take a quick look through your swimmer’s bag and around the house to make sure you didn’t accidentally bring home someone else’s T-shirt, sweatshirt, or other team gear. If you find any misplaced items, please bring them to Finals practice or the End-of-Season Party so we can help reunite them with their owners.

Also, if you’ve accumulated any BAC towels throughout the season, we’d appreciate you returning them as well. Dropping them off at Finals practice or the End-of-Season Party will help ensure the club has plenty of towels available for everyone.
