2025 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

MEET KATIE DROUILLARD

NAME and AGE: Katie Drouillard age- 17.

How long have you been a competitive swimmer and for how long have you been a SHARK?

I may not be a competitive swimmer or the fastest one in the pool but I have been a Shark for 9 years!

Things you have learned from being on your swim team…

I have learned not only how to swim but how to make friendships that will last a lifetime. I have learned to cherish the little moments like the pancake breakfasts, that the last tough set we push through and the reward of being done after.  I’ve also learned to appreciate being in the company of your teammates.

Favorite memories of being a SHARK…

One of my favorite memories of being a shark was the pajama practices on Saturdays and the dance parties after the meets.

Future Plans:

I plan to go to college and play soccer somewhere down south. I also plan on majoring in business or kinesiology.

Any advice to the younger SHARKS?

My advice to the younger sharks is to be in the moment. You don’t realize how quick you grow up until it is your last time swimming for BAC. Don’t take any moment for granted because it goes by so quickly.

Let’s show our Shark spirit tomorrow and cheer Katie on in her last dual meet!

Go Sharks!
