Thank You to Our Amazing BAC Shark Volunteers!
As we wrap up another incredible Shark season, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers who made it all possible.
Being a Shark is about more than swimming—it’s about teamwork, community, and creating lasting memories for our swimmers and families. None of that happens without the incredible people who generously give their time throughout the season.
We’d like to recognize a few volunteers whose leadership made a tremendous impact this year:
Beth LaBelle, Finals Chair – Thank you for your outstanding work planning and organizing our Finals Week. Your dedication helped create a memorable championship experience for everyone.
Laura Shullman, Team Engagement Chair – Thank you for keeping our Shark community connected and engaged. Your enthusiasm helped our swimmers and families feel welcomed and supported all season long.
Tom Peard, Volunteer Chair – Thank you for coordinating the volunteers who keep our meets running smoothly. Your organization and leadership made every event possible.
Gretchen Marsh, BAC Vice President and Immediate Past MICSA President – As Gretchen prepares to step down from her leadership roles this November, we want to thank her for her years of dedicated service. Her leadership and commitment have strengthened both BAC and the MICSA community, leaving a lasting impact on our swimmers, families, and volunteers.
We’d also like to give a special shout-out to Julianne Nienberg, Jen Dillon, Kelly Groth, Christian Groth, Wendy Peard, Elizabeth Lynch, Kathryn Christensen, Sharon Myers, and Tim Miller for their continued support and dedication to the team. Your willingness to help wherever needed makes our team stronger.
To every volunteer who gave their time this season—whether as a timer, hospitality helper, announcer, ribbon sorter, or in countless other roles—thank you. Your dedication makes the BAC a special place for our swimmers and families.
