Dear Swim Families,
We recently learned that some families were unable to sign up for volunteer positions because many of the available spots filled quickly. To help ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate, we have added additional volunteer positions in Commit under “Jobs.” Please take a moment to log in and review the available opportunities.
New volunteer openings have been added for:
- The Blue & White Meet
- All three home meets
- The Lilly King Olympian Clinic days
- Select mini-meets
This season, we are excited to have nearly 30 Fins, making it another record-breaking year for our team! To help meets run smoothly and provide the best experience for our youngest swimmers, we’ve added additional volunteer roles to assist with marshalling swimmers in the FINZONE.
We have also introduced a new Hospitality position. Volunteers in this role will periodically check in with coaches and meet volunteers (primarily timers) to offer water and snacks. Hospitality volunteers may also provide brief coverage if a timer needs a short break.
The volunteer sign-up deadline is June 15. Please sign up for a volunteer position—or let us know if you would prefer to make the $300 team contribution in lieu of volunteering—by June 15. If you choose to contribute $300, the charge will be on your July statement.
